About this Demo
Acadelia Demo is a portfolio demo built by Rodney Dhavid Jiménez Chacín on top of the Acadelia open-source project. The goal is straightforward: let anyone interact with the system and see first-hand how an AI-powered platform works in a real production environment.
The demo uses Acadelia's codebase as its foundation, but a significant portion of the internal architecture was redesigned and rebuilt — optimized for reliability, performance, and public access. It is a polished, standalone system developed over an extended period after the original project was completed.
The Acadelia Project
Acadelia was developed from late 2023 to mid-2025 as a learning and experimentation initiative. The core goal was to build a complete, functional AI-powered application from scratch — covering system design, LLM integration, real-time communication, vector databases, and multimodal processing.

AI Assistant
A multimodal conversational agent capable of reasoning across different types of content. It uses a set of specialized tools to search the web, solve equations, analyze data, generate visual diagrams, and more — all within a single conversation thread.
- Documents (PDF) — upload a PDF and ask questions about it, request summaries, or generate a comprehension exam based on its content.
- YouTube — paste a YouTube link in the chat. The assistant transcribes and analyzes the video so you can ask anything about it.
- Images & files — attach images, code files, or text documents. The assistant reads and reasons about their content directly.
- Web search — the assistant searches the web in real time when it needs current information.
- Calculations — math, physics, chemistry — complex computations are resolved with Wolfram precision.
- Concept maps — ask for a diagram of any topic and the assistant renders an interactive visual map using Mermaid.
- Comprehension exams — the assistant generates a multiple-choice exam on any topic or from an uploaded document.

Access & Limits
Access is verified by email. Enter your address, receive a 6-digit code, and you're in — no password needed. Sessions last 30 days, so you only need to verify once per month and your history is always there waiting for you.
Each account has a daily token quota that resets every 24 hours. This keeps the demo open and accessible to everyone. If you reach the limit, just come back tomorrow — your conversations and files stay intact.
